News Crew (mornings 8:15)

Students in 4th and 5th grade develop and operate the school's Daily News Program.  

Leadership Roles (during school)

         All students are given specific leadership roles in which they support not only the classroom systems but also our school wide systems. They help keep our school running smoothly. From daily greeters to library leaders the kids are invested in our school as well!

Student Lighthouse Team

        The Student Lighthouse team is a group of student who help support our School's Leader In Me Leadership principles. They get to help decide on major school decisions that perhaps adult might choose for them. They provide school tours for new students and for any new visitor we may have. They present leadership lesson that help educate parents and students on The 7 Habits Of Happy Kids.

Robotics (after school)

Robotics Club offers a highly effective way to build team work skills like collaboration, problem solving and project management. This program goes hand in hand with Seminole County Public School’s STEM Initiative and use of the Engineering Design Process

Running Club (after school)

Running Club is an after school program that provides students with a positive and healthy opportunity for physical exercise while building team work.  Several running competitions are held throughout the school year.  

Safety Patrol (during school)

Students in 5th grade are selected to become members of the School Safety Patrol program which instills students with a sense of responsibility, leadership and citizenship.  Patrols assist our students in following  procedures during arrival and dismissal times. 

Percussion Ensemble (before school)

Our fourth and fifth grade leaders are marching to the beat of our percussion ensemble!  They have stepped up to be our inaugural drum corp!  So far they are exploring percussion patterns, music theory and good old playing to the beat.  The students are committed to practicing and learning new skills.
